How to prepare for GRE ? 

GRE  (Graduate Record Examination) - exam required for admission to the master's degree or post-graduate education in the United States and some other countries (eg Canada, Australia). It consists of 3 sections: Part verbal and logical thinking (Verbal Reasoning), Math (Quantitative Reasoning), analytical writing (Analytical Writing).

1. PART OF THE VERBAL-LOGICAL THINKING
The section consists of three types of tasks: reading comprehension questions, filling in the gaps in the text, multiple-choice questions.

2. MATHEMATICS
Tasks in this section are built on the basic concepts of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data analysis. Here you will encounter four types of tasks: questions on the comparison in size, multiple-choice questions with one correct answer, multiple-choice questions with one or more correct answers and equations.

3. ANALYTICAL LETTER.
The purpose of this section - check examinee critical thinking skills, and analytical writing skills. There is evaluated your ability to generate complex ideas, build and evaluate arguments, and lead purposeful and consistent discussion. The section consists of two parts: an essay and analysis of the case.


HOW IS THE GRE?
Tested receive three separate estimates. For part of the math and verbal and logical thinking results varied between 130 and 170 points. For analytical writing can be obtained from 0 to 6 points.

The first two parts GRE - is an adaptive test. Each part has two sections. The level of difficulty of the next section of each part is determined by the result of the test in the previous section. If you give enough correct answers in the first section, you move on to the more complicated the second section and, therefore, have an opportunity to score more points.

Some examinees will also see an additional experimental section in one part of the GRE, the results of which will not be included in the final figure. That is, if you see three math sections, it means that your experimental part was mathematics, but you will not know the results of three sections were not taken into account.

WHAT ARE THE GRE SUBJECT?

GRE subjects - a test of performance that determine your knowledge in a particular area of ​​study:
